My hand and the landscape
Tomoko exhibited her on going project, “My hand and the landscape”. It included her first performance piece in which she attempted to convey her thoughts by taking the visual input of a photograph and an emotional inspiration in the form of a plaster cast of her right hand.
After looking at a photograph and the model of her hand on a table, she wrote a short, freely associated text on a piece of paper, then placed both on a ledge where the image/text pairs formed an intimate story.
